14" Vintage Madame Alexander Little Women Jo Doll Hard Plastic 1940's Original

Beautiful, vintage 14” Madame Alexander Litttle Women Jo is all original. She is gorgeous and clean with all original shoes, socks, pantaloons, dress, bow in her hair etc.   Comes from a woman who had this doll and the other Little Women to be listed over the next couple of days, as part of her childhood collection.   She stated that her father was a dr. And when he returned from any travels he would take her to FAO Schwartz to pick a doll.   The only “flaw” may be that she remembers not liking the MaDame Alexander tag on the back of the clothing and would cut them off.  Doll has sat in a display case for many years.  Dress has a few spots (age?) that are not noticeable as for the most part they “get lost” in the folds of the dress. I tried to show it in close up photos.  Her slip feels more like a muslin. No rips, tears or seam splits anywhere on any of the clothing.  Black shoes have bows. She has the larger hands   This doll is all original and a great example of the quality of a Madame Alexander doll.  What a great addition to a Madame Alexander collection.  Thanks for looking and please email with questions.  Good luck.
