Alexander Cissy 1956 Dots w Red Rickrack Sun Dress Stitch by Stitch Replica

I recently took apart a Cissy sun dress that was in shreds.  This new dress has been created following that pattern stitch by stitch.  This vintage polished cotton material was use to create a dress similar to the one is depicted on page 86 of the Cissy Files book.  The arm holes and neckline are trimmed with rick rack as well has the hemline. Note the cute bows on the top of the shoulder.   This dress fits Cissy like a glove, and would not work on a fuller figured doll without moving the snaps.   The cute hat is a perfect accent.   Included in the auction is a red taffeta slip and matching red taffeta undies.   What a perfect summer ensemble for Cissy!  The Cissy doll is not for sale.  Shipping will be a flat rate of .00 to its new home.   Happy collecting!
