Mme alexander 1953 "heavy" 8" Wendykins strung doll, all original outfit

this rare little darling is marked Alex on her back.  She is one of the early strung Alexanderkins dolls, made with a much heavier plastic than the ones that followed.  She is all original in a pink organdy tagged dress (says Alexanderkins), black side snap velvet shoes (one snap is torn from the strap).  she came with the purse years ago, but I don't know for sure if it is original to her.  lovely deep auburn hair still in a pristine set.  No stains, discoloration, cracks or other issues.  Her dress is free from holes, tears or fading.  Non smoking home.
