Sugar Britches 18" Christening Doll Porcelain Head Hands Weighted Cloth Body
Rare, vintage 1986 ‘Sugar Britches (legible on her neck), reproduction by Boots Tyner.
She’s a beautiful, sleeping African American baby doll with the curliest hair (wig), custom made porcelain head with real lashes, hands with a pellet stuffed, dark hand sewn jointed body.
When holding her it’s like you’re holding a real baby, she cuddles right in your arms and even feel real when you pretend to burp her.
She has bent knees and looks sleeping so peacefully.
She dressed in a gorgeous long christening gown trimmed in lace and pink ribbons (elastic on sleeves stretched), with matching bonnet.  She measures 18" long, 27" long including the gown.

One owner, custom made by her, excellent, mint, pristine condition. She’s collected dolls over 30 years and has recently had to downsize and sadly has no room for all her dolls, so she hopes someone will cherish them as much as she has.  Never played with.
