    Description

    Vintage KAICUT 13 inch Butcher’s Hog Splitter Meat Cleaver with Wood Handle. The blade measures approximately 7 inches by 4 inches. It is heavy for size, weighing about 2 1/2 pounds. It is an estate find and I am only guessing at it’s age. KAICUT was founded in Japan in 1908.
    Condition: Used. As found, needs cleaned up and sharpened. There is fat buildup on the handle which has protected the wood. The handle is tight and in good condition. Good to use for it’s intended purpose once it is cleaned up and sharpened.
